VICTORIA POLICE, FORENSIC MODERNISATION

APM’s refurbishment of the secure Victoria Police Forensic Facility in Macleod was the second project we have undertaken on this site, having constructed the original facility in 2004. The modernisation was undertaken in the operational facility to provide an expansion to cater for demand and accommodate the new work practices of Victoria Police. The refurbishment of the existing VABC and VPFSC Building consists of laboratories, offices, amenities, fingerprint labs, DVI sheds, café, and courtyards, civil works and other staff areas. The variety of the scope required the procurement and management of numerous specialist subcontract trades to achieve the exact standards and finishes required within forensic facilities.
