BARWON PRISON, BANKSIA UNIT

This fast track project involved the demolition and extension of the Banksia unit within the occupied maximum security prison, incorporating new exercise yards, pedestrian Sally Port, holding cells and x-ray facilities. The scope of the works included alterations to the existing facilities and modification of all building services infrastructure. Inside the facility extensive refurbishment was required and included the supply and installation of specialist prison fixtures and fittings.
