MONASH ANIMAL RESEARCH CENTRE

APM Group was engaged by the university to provide a fast tracked expansion to its existing animal research building (PC2 standard). The extended building incorporated a sterile operating facility, new embryonic stem suite, a transgenic suite, holding rooms and a common entry, airlock and corridors linking the areas. During construction strict protocols were established to ensure there was no cross contamination from the existing to the new facility. Working to tight timeframes specified by the client in accordance with the academic year, APM delivered the fully commissioned facility ready for operation.
